So in my first autoresponder message my focus was to introduce myself, and sort of turn the anonymous "sales page" into a person. That person of course is myself. I want my prospects to come to know, like and trust me.

Obviously though that's not going to happen through a single "touch," so I need to continue to follow up with them. That first email I will send out about 12 hours after they opt-in. This second one comes another day later.

The Check-In

This one I call the "check in."

By this I mean I make sure I'm not being pushy.

What I want to do with this second message is continue to show them that I genuinely care about them and desire to make them comfortable with me. Of course this only works if you genuinely care. So make sure you sort that out with yourself first and foremost.

How To Get Anything You Want

If your motivation is just to make a sale, people will smell that on you a mile away. People aren't stupid. The only way to truly succeed is to get your eyes off yourself, and seek to truly HELP others. What goes around always comes around eventually. As Zig Ziglar used to say, "You can get anything you want in life, if you help enough people get what they're wanting."

So what does me "checkin in" message look like.

It's So Simple!

Again, sweet and simple. I'm not trying to sell the anything other than the fact that I'm here to help them.

Pretty easy don't you think? Obviously you'll want to use your own words and say things that are true to who YOU are. I send this message the second day while I'm still top of mind with them. But in my case I'm also aiming at who my true "target" is.

Who I'm after is affiliate marketing "newbies." I know there are lots of people looking who are just like me. Starting out in the affiliate marketing business. That's who ABS is really aimed at. So that's who I spend my time talking to.
